There are marketplaces for almost everything, forums, community and special events & interest groups and always more under development.
Free, gratis, zilch, nothing. Anyone can browse the entire site accessing all publicly available information. Only members can join in on the private forums, apply for jobs, join groups and events etc.

However, it is to the benefit of all locals that they can find you, so we will be creating listings for every busy we can find details about, so if you do not wish to join, send us the details and we will upload them for you. Once published, your listing is ready to make you more business.

Yes you can. Corfu Local has 2 different levels of access.
The first level is public where the vast majority of the general information is accessible.
This is to provide the general public with access to the wisdom of the local residents.
The second level (membership) is for visitors to be able to communicate directly with the locals.
This provides a bit of security to reduce scamming etc. and allows visitors to access forums, businesses owners, make accommodation bookings, contact fellow travellers, book local guides so on.
A comprehensive database of tourist attractions, activities, accommodation, tours, rentals (car, boat, bike etc), events and entertainment for you to review and book.
Additionally, you have access to the other information such as local transport, local guides, destinations (curated by locals), local entertainment and events, under the radar things to do, local crafts and artisans. The heart of Corfu.

Yes you can. There are 2 ways to search and book your needs. 1: we have a fully integrated GDS that connects to major online consolidators such as Booking.com, Airbnb.com etc. With these the local tourism supplier pays a major commission to those companies. The second way is to book direct through the their website which you can find listed on Corfu Local, not through a third party travel agent.
